A few answers for the moments when your search needs a second look.
How to search
- Select one or more model tags. Each selected tag adds a phone; tap it again to remove that model.
- Choose the size, storage and color. When comparing phones, tap a configuration card to edit it. Use Add variant to compare another configuration of the same model. Up to six configurations fit in one search.
- Choose Nearby, County or Whole country, then check availability.
The bookmark saves your configuration and area on this device. You can load or delete it from Saved.
Reading the results

| Available | Apple reported a pickup option for that configuration when checked. The pickup date may be today or a later date. |
| Unavailable | Apple explicitly returned no pickup availability for that configuration. |
| Unconfirmed | Apple did not provide a usable answer for that configuration. It might still be available. |
| Recent check | Apple could not refresh this result. The last successful check is no more than two minutes old and keeps its original timestamp. Confirm pickup on Apple. |
| Partial results | Some stores or configurations could not be checked. The coverage line explains what is missing. |

Common questions
Why did a search stop early?
Apple can time out or limit requests. Temporary failures get a few spaced retries. If those fail, a successful check from the last two minutes may appear with a Recent check label and its original time. The scan then stops instead of repeating the failure for every store. Any missing stores are noted as partial results. Wait a minute before refreshing.
Why can’t it find my location?
US ZIP codes use a bundled postal directory, so they do not depend on an external location service. Enter all five digits; ZIP+4 also works and uses the same postal-area center. If a ZIP is not found, try the city and state. For city names and other countries, choose the matching suggestion. A result labelled “store location” uses that Apple Store as the search center. County and whole-country searches do not require a location lookup.
Is the distance a driving distance?
No. It is the straight-line distance from the selected location. ZIP-code searches start from an approximate postal-area location, not your address. Roads and travel times may be longer. The filter accepts up to 2,000 miles. County search is currently available in the United States.
Will it alert me when the app is closed?
No. Auto-refresh runs every five minutes while the page is open and visible. If you enable browser notifications, newly available stock found during a check can generate a notification. Closing the page stops checks.
How do product previews work?
Each preview matches the selected finish and ends on its exact configuration photo. Where a matching product video is unavailable, a short photo-reveal video plays. Dark mode defaults to dark finishes; light mode defaults to white or the lightest available finish. A color you choose yourself stays selected when you change themes. You can skip, replay, or turn off animations in Settings. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
How do I install it?
On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open Chrome’s menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Desktop browsers may offer an install icon in the address bar. It is a free web app; no app-store purchase is involved. Stock checks require an internet connection.
Where are my saved searches?
They stay in the browser where you saved them. A different browser, device, private session or cleared site data will not have the same saved searches. No account is needed. You can clear the app’s device data on the Privacy page.
What if Apple’s result is different?
Apple’s checkout is the final source for availability. Stock may change after the timestamp shown here, and eligibility may depend on your purchase or carrier options. For an order, payment, activation or pickup problem, use Apple shopping help.
